Developed by the Design and Manufacturing team in direct collaboration with the Production Manager and Factory Floor Leads.
Subdivide assemblies into specialized shop divisions (Woodworking, Metalwork, Finishing, Upholstery).
Generate material cutting lists, CNC files, templates, and detailed technical drawings with exploded views and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Calculate raw material requirements for product costing, and generate optimized RDWorks files for lase-cutting upholstery fabrics, foam, and structural components.
Transfer technical packages via Monday.com and review documentation with the Production Manager and workshop leads.
Provide step-by-step guidance and build visual assembly guides for upholstery and sewing teams to ensure self-sufficient production.
Guide workshop leads during first-off prototype runs, evaluating mechanical fit and ergonomic comfort.
Incorporate factory-floor feedback to refine CAD models, technical drawings, and BOMs.
Validate final pre-production prototypes for the bi-annual Guadalajara International Furniture Expo (Expo Mueble Internacional).
Deliver optimized manufacturing documentation packages to support the simultaneous rollout of 10 to 25 new products per expo edition.
